Sunday School

Church of the Advent runs a Sunday school for children (age 5-12) of the parish and community each week during the school year.  Frank Garcia is the Sunday School director, ably assisted by a regular staff of volunteers.  All our personnel are required to receive training in the safe provision of care to children.

Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall each week. 

This is a blessed activity! The kids and teachers alike have a great time together as the young people learn about Christian faith and values.  The children start their lesson in the Parish Hall, and join the congregation for the Eucharist.  They do a Christmas pageant nearly every year, either acting themselves or using their puppets.  This is the point in the year when they are most like angels!

Adult Education

Currently Bible Study classes meet on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. During the course of the year special programs and presentations are offered on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. between services and during the week. Feel free to join us for study. All are welcome.
